Sustainable Building, Given A Home That Matches The Ambition
Saltbush Home Builders
Saltbush imagines a sustainable home builder with a website as thoughtfully made as its homes. Most builder sites look the same: stock photos, a list of services and a contact form. We designed Saltbush to tell a story about building better, with homes that suit the climate, use honest materials and cost less to run. Visitors come away understanding what makes the builder different, trusting the team behind it and ready to start a conversation about their own home.

The idea
Building a home is one of the biggest decisions a family makes, yet most builder websites give people very little to go on. Saltbush asks: what if the website built trust before the first phone call?
Our approach
We structured the site around the questions people actually ask. What will it be like to work with you? What makes your homes different? What happens next? Real stories about the homes and the people behind them do more convincing than any list of services.
The look and feel
Earthy, natural tones and large, honest photography reflect the builder's values. It feels grounded, crafted and quietly premium, the opposite of the glossy, generic look most of the industry uses.
Why it matters for builders and trades
When you're quoting jobs worth tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars, your website is often the first impression. A site that clearly shows your values and your process attracts better-fit clients and fewer tyre-kickers.
What we'd do next
We'd test the enquiry journey, track the quality of leads coming through the site and see which stories and projects persuade people to get in touch.
